What’s Happening in Bethlehem this Christmas?

What’s Happening in Bethlehem this Christmas?

Maybe you should do something about it before celebrating.

December 12, 2023—Did you know that Christian churches in Bethlehem have cancelled Christmas celebrations? How many of your googly-eyed shopping friends and neighbors have stopped to consider that Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ, is in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, and inhabited by Palestinian Christians, as well as Muslims?

The Christian leaders in Bethlehem are in mourning for the nearly 20,000 (as of this writing) Palestinian civilians who have been slaughtered by the American-armed Israeli Defense Forces since the Hamas terror attack in Israel on October 7. Therefore, Christmas in Bethlehem will be a time of sorrow and silence, unless the people of the United States force our criminal and murderous Biden Administration to act to halt the slaughter.

The world will long hold every American Citizen to account for our failure in forcing the demented President Joe Biden to stop the carnage being perpetrated by our Israeli ally in Gaza. Everyone knows that a simple phone call from Joe Biden to Bibi Netanyahu would be sufficient to stop this mass-murder, which will soon kill thousands more of disease, dehydration, and starvation as temperatures drop, and 1.7 million Palestinians are without homes or shelter.

U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres called the Security Council into a special emergency session on December 8, 2023 in order to vote on a resolution calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire and unconditional release of the hostages.

Only two of the U.N.S.C. members failed to support the resolution: the U.K., which abstained, and the United States, whose Ambassador Robert Wood vetoed the resolution, giving the green light to the Netanyahu regime to not only continue, but to escalate the slaughter of the civilian population of Gaza.

As a candidate for U.S. Senate (the seat formerly occupied by the vicarious murderess of Gaddafi, Hillary Clinton), I am calling on our Congress and the American people to pay attention to the words of the U.N. Secretary General and the leaders of many international humanitarian relief agencies, and demand that the Biden Administration conform to universal standards of humanity and to uphold international law. This mass murder of children and other innocent people in Gaza is occurring before the eyes of the world, and the world is watching.

President Biden likes to brag about how he has “isolated” President Putin of Russia, or other “dictators” around the world. It apparently hasn't occurred to him that it is the United States which has become isolated, feared, and loathed due to our ugly transformation since the end of World War II, where we collaborated with both China and Russia in defeating fascism, and not only that, through far-sighted and principled reconstruction efforts, converted former adversaries into friends.  Think of the wake of destruction since the disaster in Vietnam, the wars after 9/11, and how this policy has destroyed the United States. Yes, it is we who will ultimately pay a terrible price for failing to act for the good of mankind, especially during this “holy-day” season of Hanukkah and Christmas.

Join me in acting to save innocent lives!  Demand that the United States listen to the voice of the majority of the world who want peace.  Call your congressman, testify at your city council, write to the editor your local newspaper. March in the streets, call the White House, demand ceasefire now!  We owe it to the billions of souls born before and after Christ, and those who will, through our action today, have the opportunity to be born in the future, to bring peace to Bethlehem this Christmas.

Ceasefire now!
