We Defeated Liz and Dick Cheney -- We Can't Stop Now!
Nov. 6, 2024--We have a precious moment of opportunity. I wanted to start by thanking all of those who supported my campaign, but then hesitated because often "Thank You" statements from candidates usually mean the end of a campaign, and I have no intention of ending this fight to save our Republic and the future of humanity as a whole.
I know that many of you not only voted for me, but mobilized hundreds and even thousands of other New Yorkers to do so. I don't believe that the 0.5% "official" result reflects that effort, and will be looking into it, but fundamentally my campaign was never about chasing after votes.
I launched my first New York campaign against Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer late in 2019, because it was clear to me that our nation needs qualified leadership, and after 32 years of working with America's greatest statesman, Lyndon LaRouche, I believed that I could offer a standard of leadership which could serve to hold our so-called "representatives" accountable. Bronx Congressional candidate Jose Vega and I succeeded in doing that over the last couple of years, and as we saw at the October 26th Manhattan event, we have now assembled a team of top American retired military and intelligence experts, as well as some top social media influencers who are committed to the cause of ending these murderous wars, and upholding our Constitution.
It would be irresponsible and immoral to stop fighting now.
President-elect Donald J. Trump has promised to end the forever wars, emphatically including the Russia Ukraine conflict, which was completely avoidable, and both he and J.D. Vance have stated that a war with Iran "is not in our interest." Let's hold them to that. Let's also insist that AIPAC register as a foreign lobby group and demand that the genocide against the Palestinian people be halted immediately.
Because the billionaire interests pushing these wars would like to hand the incoming Trump Administration an intractable military conflict, we must be particularly active and vigilant during this "lame duck" period, while the senile Joe Biden remains in the White House. The fact that the Space Force chose to launch a "routine test" of a nuclear-capable Minuteman III missile in the middle of the election results coming in last night is not a promising signal.
Therefore, my Friday Symposium will continue, as will the Vega/Sare Monday night conference calls. We will also be mobilizing for a major Schiller Institute online conference to be convened on December 7 and 8th, where the need for a whole new economic and security architecture will be taken up by a panel of American and international representatives. I would urge all of you to stick with us as we seize this moment of transition to shape the policy of the incoming administration.
Thank you so very much for your actions and your support in this campaign. Now is not the time to stop!
