December 12, 2023—Did you know that Christian churches in Bethlehem have cancelled Christmas celebrations? How many of your googly-eyed shopping friends and neighbors have stopped to consider that Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ, is in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, and inhabited by Palestinian Christians, as well as Muslims?

December 6, 2023—As an independent candidate for the seat in the United States Senate once occupied by Hillary Rodham Clinton, I hereby call on President Emeritus of Columbia University Lee C. Bollinger to revoke his January 5, 2023 announcement of Secretary Clinton’s appointments as  Professor of Practice at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and Presidential Fellow at Columbia World Projects (CWP).

November 21, 2023—The pending release of 50 hostages, including 30 children, taken in a Hamas terror attack on October 7 is surely very welcome news for their families and all people of goodwill.  However, there is no indication that this step will lead to an end to the horrific slaughter of thousands of Palestinian women and children which has been ongoing since October 8, supposedly in retaliation for the attack but really to carry out a plan of ethnic cleansing against 2.3 million people living in Gaza.

November 19, 2023— Billions of people across the globe are watching in horror and spiritual agony as the British and American-backed Bibi Netanyahu regime moves to eliminate up to 2.3 million Palestinian people in Gaza. Millions have demonstrated in the streets from London to Washington to Istanbul demanding a halt to the killing of innocents, including over 5,000 children as of this writing.

The question is not only how do we stop this senseless slaughter, but how do we lift mankind to a new level where violence against other human beings becomes a thing of the past?

November 12, 2023--In spite of the frantic Herculean efforts undertaken by city officials to clean the Augean Stables of the City of San Francisco, the reality of the malodorous collapse of the United States will be on display for all to see. It will be obvious in the person of Joe Biden, the senile and sadistic American President who will stumblingly appear at the APEC proceedings with the blood on his hands of tens of thousands of victims of his ongoing wars, including the blood of over 4000 innocent Palestinian children.

November 7, 2023--Billions of people on planet Earth are horrified by the genocide occurring before our eyes in Gaza. Thanks to modern era communications, even though electricity has been cut to minimal levels by the Israeli occupiers, stories accompanied by heart wrenching videos are circulating widely, showing children saying goodbye to their dead siblings, and other children, now orphaned, sitting in piles of rubble. It is widely admitted that the Israeli Army is dropping white phosphorus over the region by night, which burns the skin and produces sores inside children’s mouths, which they are rinsing with sea water, as no other water is available. Over 10,000 people have been killed as of this writing, over 4,000 of them are children.

We must choose, whether we will go virtually to a living hell throughout this planet, in the fall of this imperial world system, or whether we shall call forth the legacy of the 1776-1789 American Revolution, to bring forth on this planet the kind of community among respectively sovereign nation-states which our John Quincy Adams affirmed, and which the present circumstance urgently requires. That latter task defines the pivotal, crucial historical mission confronting the next president of the U.S.A.

(Sept. 14, 2023)—Two hundred and forty-five years ago, Friedrich Wilhelm August Heinrich Ferdinand von Steuben, otherwise known as Baron von Steuben, or later Major General von Steuben, arrived as a volunteer at Valley Forge.
